This sound machine has a total of 34 sounds ranging from white noise to nature sounds, clocks and steamboat sounds. This is also battery operated and comes with an internal rechargeable battery. It comes packaged with a Type-C USB cable, but without the power adapter, the device itself, and the usual instruction manual. The work is easy, as in my video. All controls are located on the top of the device. I have to "hold down the power button" to turn it on and do the same to turn it off. Lightly touch the ON/OFF button to pause the sound and keep the light on. There are seven function buttons at the top, while the RGB and ON/OFF buttons serve two purposes. To set the timer, the RGB button must be "held" until the next timer selection appears (30, 60 or 90 minutes). The manual also includes instructions on how to change the brightness of the night light. Pressing the top middle button of the device will turn on the night light. To turn on the night light without sound, just press the ON/OFF button when it is in playback mode. To switch the device off completely and wake it up from standby mode, simply press and hold the ON/OFF button. Thus, the sounds on this device are crisp and clear. It has more choices than many devices on the market. The night light is a nice touch and I love the colored lights. A power adapter to USB cable isn't included, but most people have one at home. The instructions for use are short and clear. There's no headphone jack, and all sounds have to be scrolled to play, rather than selecting playlist buttons. The current price of $29.99 is on the high side of competitive prices. This sound machine has only been surpassed by my favorite of the same style, which currently costs about $8 less.
