DutyBox produces a whole range of household chemicals. I've used their interior cleaner and loved it so I decided to give DutyBox Dishes - Liquid Dish Soap a try. I should have read more carefully that it is dishwashing foam. This is not dishwashing liquid. Well, that's before it goes in the bottle, but when it comes out there will be foam. Foam isn't the best hand dishwashing detergent. I fill the sink with water and spray dish soap in it. I don't apply soap directly to the washcloth (I didn't swam). At the same time, it cleans when you pump a washcloth. That's how I washed the dishes. I was able to wash a few plates from this pump onto a cloth. It did a good job cleaning the dishes, although none of them were as badly soiled as a baked pot or pot. Glassware became very shiny with no water stains. It cut through coffee butter perfectly on my reusable K mug. I did a few pumps in the sink with water. The dishes washed well, but not that well, and there was no foam either. So I save that for when I need to wash some plates. If DutyBox offers real washing up liquid I will definitely try it. In contrast to interior cleaner, two capsules are required for one bottle. You only get two full bottles of washing-up liquid with the set, not four. I halved the amount of water and used one capsule. There's no particular reason other than that I had enough of my previous dish soap left and was dying to try it. But I don't feel like I'm getting the same value from it as I am from their interior cleaner. It left my hands soft and smells nice but not overpowering. As with their other products, I love that you can fill the bottle without using too much plastic. Once you are done with the bottle it can be recycled which is a plus for me. If you wash dishes without running the sink with water, then this product might be a good choice for you. As for me, I probably won't get that particular product again just for making it. It's my fault for not choosing the right product for me from the start. Sorry for the cat photo bomb. She loves it when I take pictures and I've given up trying to stop her.
