I bought these for my wedding to hold the thin acrylic sheets that will be our table numbers. That's why I was so disappointed in him. The acrylic sheets I have are very light and flimsy, but in order for these little holders to stay upright I had to cut my 5x7 sheets in half. I tried adding small weights to them but it didn't help. I will say that if they just held cardboard or something lighter they would be perfect, but that doesn't work for acrylic. On the other hand, since they were made from raw wood, they were very easy to paint!
