Loud Loud Loud. hard plastic. They hurt a lot unlike some of the better brands which are better made out of softer plastic, foam and rubber. Poorly balanced for beginners. Just buy something else. I got very close a few times and nearly pulled a tooth out. The hard plastic at each end will inevitably smack you in the face as you learn (even if you already know how to cascade a 3-Ball). Included. I learned to juggle them with clubs. It just didn't work out for me until I bought a couple of Henry rackets. But I'm sure if you bought other rackets besides these, you should be fine.
