Review on San Francisco Umbrella Company Retriever by Russell Anh

I just received my golden retriever umbrella. My first impression is that it is CHEAP. All ribs are made of the thinnest plastic. The handle is made of plastic. The ribs are only connected to the fabric in a few places and are not completely covered by the fabric and are therefore better protected. I'm debating whether to return it or leave it for a few months while it lasts. I would only give this as a gift if the recipient is a die hard dog lover and would only appreciate the gift for that. If the recipient is conscientious about the quality, I would refuse.
