Review on TRIWONDER 5.5L Hydration Pack: Lightweight & Ideal For Trail Running, Cycling, And Hiking by Andre Brignac

First the positives. I love the vest. I love the vibrant colors. I love the material. I wasn't looking to spend 100 dollars on a Nathan vest. I was trying to be a bit more minimalist as a similar vest I have from this company has 2 water bottles. I purchased the one with one hoping I would. be able to utilize the additional space for carry ons instead of having to wear a fanny pack. This is not the all in one I wanted or needed.#1. The water bottle is trash. It takes up more space than the pocket allows so unless its empty, it will be protruding out of the vest pocket. It also splashes but I figured this would be the lesser of two evils since I never had much luck with the hydration bags not leaking all over the place.#2. The pockets are not big enough for anything I was carrying and I had to laugh when they labeled in their description the pocket on the right would hold a cell phone. Not unless you are carrying a flip phone.#3 I felt the larger areas (the back of the vest) did not offer the security I was looking for. While the front of the vest has velcro and a zipper on one side, none of those are practical enough to hold anything beyond keys and energy gels. The pack in the back offers nothing to seal and the longer one where you would stick the hydration back in, offers no layer between the vest and the stitching so anything you place in there is going to be saturated with sweat. I really didn't want to spend 100 bucks on a Vest but I guess when you go these cheaper routes, you get what you pay for.
