I love carving pumpkins but hate candles - they go out easily, don't last long, aren't very bright, they need a faucet to burn and I have to remember to light them each night. These lights eliminate all my complaints about candles. The fact that I can set a timer to turn them on and off at the same time every night is a game changer. And they're amazingly customizable. You can set it to flicker like a candle or stay lit all the time, and you can also adjust the brightness if you like. And my pumpkins that aren't carved through don't need a hole in the back or anything just to burn. It can be fully sealed and still works which I NEVER could before! Such is the case with the skull pumpkin I made this year. I've been setting them to 4 hours a day for the past few weeks and they're still working, so I'd say the battery life has exceeded expectations as well. Each requires 2 AAA batteries, as does the remote control. Speaking of the remote, another interesting thing is that I bought two sets of lights and one remote can control them ALL. It was super easy to use. I highly recommend these lights. Especially if you love carving pumpkins!
