Works best for turning the device on and off, I've had no luck with other functions. In fact, on/off is the only Alexa integration I use. Setting up my Samsung Wall Mounted Air Conditioner with my phone through the unit works, but it interferes with the display remote. I know this is most likely a Samsung issue, but it's still annoying. Also pay attention to the position of the buttons on your other devices, e.g. B. the fan. My spinning fan has an odd remote control layout (the on button is also a speed button while the off button is a separate button). This device doesn't do well with weird remote control layouts, even in the app's user settings. Important note: This is a Chinese product with a poorly translated app for the US market. It's navigable and you can set up your devices fairly easily, but the app's name on iOS is written in Chinese characters (however, the vast majority of apps are in English and relatively easy to understand). This is a secondary example, and it's not taxing - as is the temperature gauge; it is in degrees Celsius. It's very difficult to set the AC temp when it comes to units I don't understand and I have to google it. Is it possible to change the settings to degrees Fahrenheit, I haven't found it. Overall, the range is large and works. I personally don't know the performance of competing products, but this one is ok.
