I didn't buy this for my daughter's sleep. I bought it as a sun lounger. She has outgrown the original lounge chair we bought her so I decided to give this one a try. I put the soft pink side up and the cotton side down, which I think is inside out, but she loves it. It was incredibly adorable to see a 17 month old dancing on it and then snuggling face down and navigating in it. She likes to snuggle up in the soft, comfortable cushions and loves this lounge chair. For a baby that sleeps wonderfully in a bare crib with no blankets or pillows, they love snuggly comfort when awake. Apparently, it's also an irresistible cat bed. When my daughter isn't snuggling up against that deck chair, one of my cats is sitting there. The good thing is that it is machine washable because it attracts a lot of people. It comes vacuum packed and once opened will never fit back into the pouch it came in. But it's a handy little zippered bag for storing baby blankets and the like. My daughter gives two thumbs up and cats give two paws. This is a great achievement for everyone.
