Requires a portable charger to use cables. Non-rechargeable. Also cheap goods. It fits a lot, but my son can't last long with all the books he has to lug around. Suitable for 3 inch designer, Chromebook and more as shown in the picture. Basically, the charging part is just a USB port connected to a book case, which can then be plugged into a portable phone charger. So if you don't have it, it's useless. UPDATE: As predicted, broke in less than a month. The plastic piece on the strap just broke and my son only had one strap at school before he got home. Not intended for middle school students with lots of books.
