CubieDot just works! My mom used a lot of Lightning cables and ended up breaking the charging port on her iPhone. When she got a new phone, I wanted her to use it. instead of wireless charging. The first wireless charger we tried worked about half the time, and she got very frustrated that she had to keep moving her phone on the charger to try and get it to work. She really likes CubieDot. Me too, because she has no problem with it. I don't have to drop everything to come and help her charge her phone. She just hangs up the phone, the LED ring turns blue and we can go. charges her iPhone 12 every day. At the moment it has a slightly thicker case, one with a liquid backing, and the charger even works with this case. I tested it with thin TPU cases and it works with them too. The power cord is permanently connected to the AC adapter charger.
