The table is solid - will not move or bend. The assembly instructions were a little confusing as there were no instructions included , just a picture. When we tried to install the final side, the holes in the top didn't let the screw go all the way through. I had to drill holes. Everything else fits. Assembly requires 2 people though. One to attach to hold in place to be able to assemble it.Be sure to study the diagrams very carefully and be sure to match the part numbering with the diagram and ensure it is on the correct side of the part before assembling. And collect it on the bed or sofa or carpet. Be careful not to scratch it, the paint comes off very easily. What I didn't realize was that the size wasn't ideal for a chair etc nd is a table. It should be deeper and not as wide. To use it next to a sofa, it sticks out 18 inches from the wall, so it doesn't look good if your sofa is against a wall. And it takes up a lot of space between two chairs.
