I used these metal plates to build cage shelving in my work van. The plastic connectors included in the kit are useless, so I assembled the panels into separate cubes using zip ties. I then attached each cube to the plywood wall with RG6 cable ties. Some of the cubes I left open didn't have doors for larger items. These dice are amazingly strong. They don't flex or flex enough to notice, and when all the cubes are tied together they resist flexing even more. The weight of the items I store does not exceed 15 pounds cubic. Commercial grade metal shelving costs me around $800. These cages with ALL the hardware and plywood are only $145! They're not indestructible, but they'll definitely get the job done. Something to consider. Don't expect these wire blocks to have a quality finish. Many of the panels were poorly painted or missing welds etc. As such I only recommend them where eye pain is not a concern. If you're looking for something cool, look elsewhere.
