Review on 📚 Rustic Wood Ledge Shelves - Set of 3 Floating Wall Mounted Shelves, Wide Panel for Bedroom, Office, Kitchen, Living Room - 5.9" Deep by Candy Quillar

After the renovation in the bathroom, I searched a long time for decent floating shelves and finally found them. For the price I bought (about $35 for a 3-pack) they turned out to be a great deal, especially compared to the insane prices of similar items on other sites (Wayfair in particular). They don't hold 50 pounds, heck I wouldn't trust them even 20 (unless you're lucky and hit two bolts when you install them), but it wasn't what I needed. I just needed a place to keep the TP prize rolls I've been saving and they do a great job. Compared to other floating shelves, they're great for several reasons: 1) This set includes original EZ Ancor Twist-N-Lock anchors. Some reviews complained about the anchors. Maybe the manufacturer has updated after the complaints? Or maybe people are just stupid. *shrugs* Anyway, 2) The back of the shelves are recessed so the shelf can cover the bracket. You'd think this would be the standard for all floating shelves. But after reviewing dozens of options, I can attest that this is not the case. 3) The shelves are NOT lined with laminate strips, they are simply painted white. I decided I didn't want to laminate anything after looking at the ones on the shelf at Home Depot and seeing that the edges of the laminate weren't white but had an ugly dark border all around. On the contrary, they are simply smooth, completely white. There is some room for improvement. One of the three shelves in my set had an obvious seam of material that wasn't well covered with paint. Also, the screw hole covers that attach the shelf to the metal brackets are just white stickers that don't really match the shelf's material. I suspect if I were using them in a situation where you could see the underside I would use sealant in the screw holes. Or you can stand the shelf with the screw holes facing up and cover them with whatever you put on the shelf. Finally, while the anchors in the kit were of high quality, the screws were terrible and I used my own. But despite its shortcomings, this set was excellent value for money. I just wish there was a review like this to let me know!
