This item arrived in the mail today with a dented, scratched box. Seems cheap, the cut out for the cable is wrong and the plastic part that is supposed to hold the cable just pops out. I thought the heating system was built into the box, but it's just a thin gasket that you put inside. The stones have a HORRIBLE smell and seem to have some kind of sticky film on them. And they stuck to the heating pad which left some stickiness on it. Now I will say that it heats the stones well and that is the only good thing I can say. I don't expect it to last long because the heating mechanism is so cheap and flimsy. As for the heating, you have to turn it off to turn it on and off and you can't regulate the heat at all.
