I bought these for my daughter in my college dorm. After opening the package at home to try them out, she decided it was long enough to hang in her room at home and in her dorm room! She was happy to learn that she can control the light not only with the remote control but also with the app on her phone! Let's be honest, at this age they will lose their remote controls. The fact that she can still manage them on her phone is very helpful. They have a variety of features including different colors, patterns, or whatever you like. Now I may need to buy some for the family room to brighten the mood during the movies!
