My girls (5 and 7 years old) recently received a diary with a "Magic Decoder Pen” and they really enjoyed playing and writing with it. They used it so much they ended up using it until it dried up and stopped working so I found them on Amazon and gave it a try. They work great! They are very affordable and easy to use. They come in a pouch, but each marker is individually wrapped so you can easily separate them for gifts, stockings or treats. I think if you have a child who can write, they will love it!
