This is a great beard balm or (wax as they call it). I have used many balms including some expensive "styling balms". It gives more hold than any "heavy duty" balm. What I like is that it's as hard as mustache wax in the jar. It's hard to cut, I only use one tool. I have about 2 inches of beard. A nickel-sized amount is great for my extremely unruly hair. Then get ready for a hand workout because you really want to warm them up in your hands. Then I rub down over the beard and then up from the chin. Now I have even coverage. Of course I do that a few times. (Only when I really need to look good). This allows me to shape and tame the animal on my face. Also, a big, HUGE benefit is that this stuff doesn't get stiff like mustache wax. This is for you! Oh it reminded me Strong beard balms always make me greasy because I have to use A LOT of them. And it still only takes half a day. Then I still feel fat. Think about it, you're paying less for 2 ounces of high-performance beard balm and needing to use 2-3 times more for hold and hold. Deal with the greasy feeling or buy it and use half the cheaper stuff. The effort is worth it in the long run. Believe me. For those wondering how easy it is to wash it off, beard shampoo and a hot shower will get rid of it all. If you don't use beard shampoo every day when you shower or bathe, you can simply run your fingers over your beard while you shower, which will remove most of the product. When I talk about most of the product, I mean some of it is still there, but not enough to stop you from oiling your beard. Also, it won't ruin your pillowcases. I will buy this again.
