Review on Blue Sequins Tulle Evening Dress for Women by Angel-fashions - Sleeveless Design by Jason Havens

A beautiful dress if you are willing to work with it.

First of all, I'm 1.60m tall and wear low heels, this dress hits my ankles. I now add an extra layer of tulle at the bottom to give it more length. I'm wearing it to the USMC Birthday Prom and decided to add straps to it so I don't have to keep tightening it. I won't lie, this dress took a lot of work to make it look elegant. I bought a thicker ribbon from Michaels to use for the back lacing because the ribbon that came with it looks like a silk bath rope (which I ended up using for the straps). Since the dress is big, I also bought a medium size (I usually wear a large). The dress fits perfectly and the ties at the back allowed the dress to adjust to the figure although it was a little baggy around the bust (I have C 36) but the straps I sewed on lifted that part, so it fit. better. Also, this dress is very thin. I would recommend wearing a corset or spanks underneath (if needed). The dress does not show through, it just doesn't have the right stitching/boning to give it the look in the picture and the dress itself feels cheap and stretchy. I have hundreds of dollars in high end prom dresses and I have to say this dress is definitely worth $40. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • A few small things
