IMPORTANT TIP: If you are trying them for the first time, connect them to your phone FIRST and then put them on. Why? I have a music player app that will continue playing if you plug something into a jack. The volume in the headphones is a separate control and I set it to maximum even though the phone's speaker was at zero. Luckily this happened to me with a much quieter IEMS, but still - it was a pain. With the ZS10 Pro, 25%-30% volume is sufficient. Following some of the other reviews here, grab some foam tips for better insulation and play with them at a moderate volume for a day or two. Don't get me wrong - they still sound great out of the box. Make sure you have a high-quality audio source: start with the audio format. You'll notice high junk (shrill hi-hats) from heavily coded streams because they don't wash them away. they reproduce the received signal. If you want to listen to low quality streams/encoded audio, choose cheap in-ear headphones. PROS: They feel durable. The cable is the perfect length. Good clear resolution throughout the audio range. I can almost feel the hit and the hi-hat sounds like it should without it. They stay in place with no complaints (especially with foam tips) despite some weight. With 22 ohms, they can also be driven well at low frequencies. .They are according to AF. CONS: They're loud AF - you can easily make them louder than necessary. Don't play with your ears. Even with the foam tips, the insulation is okay but not outstanding. Plastic strips on the cable (connector end and Y-connector): unnecessarily bulky with sharp corners. The Y connector is too long. . About twice as much as you need (unless you're sharing with a friend?). I cut off an inch of the twisted tie and connect the cords just behind the base of the neck. This helps keep the cables under control.
