*Update: As I mentioned in my original review, they are very difficult to open. Clips are the problem. The biggest problem for me in the beginning was that the eclipse kept falling before I could close those stupid lids. Well, that's not my biggest problem. The biggest problem is that the clips keep rubbing against the edge of the containers. This creates a piece of glass. I've noticed this in the last month or so. So far I've thrown away three of them. Before I can use them, I have to run my finger over the edge each time to feel if there's a problem with the edge. Last time I cut my finger on the broken edge of the glass. All in all I wouldn't recommend them. If you use them regularly, they will break. If you use them regularly, you will cut your hand. Or on your finger. If you use them regularly you will be disappointed. It's really a shame because the containers themselves are very strong. They are really a good size. The problem is the lids. Lid clips often fall off. They are also quite difficult to open. Overall I'm happy, but these two issues don't bode well for the longevity of this product. However, the size is big!
