Two months and then dead *Update*
After two months of non-normal usage, the phone got the message "Battery not detected". The connection was checked - without success. Switched to the old battery and it worked perfectly. * Upon closer inspection I found a white powder around the wire connecting the battery, probably corrosion. The second battery in the package has no visible powder and continues to perform as expected.* Sticking to my one star rating as we didn't get what we paid for.
