I have admittedly been diagnosed with OCD and love to clean. No, they are not related. However, I thought about my dryer fan and it became an obsession. We have lived in our home for 6 years and the outside vent is 3 inches from our backyard. The rain hits the vent and my plump fist penetrates just far enough to loosen the hardened lint. I kept thinking about a clump of bugs catching fire on the villi. Two weeks ago I came across this product and ordered it. Within 5 minutes of its arrival I was sitting on the patio happily looking through the pieces together. I can only imagine that I looked like Ralphie from A Christmas Carol. I wore fluffy pink slippers and the best old-fashioned sweater without wearing it, which the neighbors probably heard me mutter under my breath while looking homeless. The rod is moderately flexible, flexible but not sluggish. It slid into the bend and allowed me to spin it, hitting all sides of the tube inside. I was in heaven dragging this baby in and out dragging God knows how many layers of accumulated fur. My only regret is how well it worked on the first CD. It was too fast. I literally got it right the first time. Subsequent inputs left me dry :( I went in, pulled out the dryer, removed the hose and used the brush there. NOTHING! I have it all out there! What a great tool! Times faster and I have a new tool.
