Works for me! for high mount brake lights

I installed my third light today to fix an existing leak on my 2010 Ford F150 Supercrew. I was hesitant to buy this brand based on some reviews. I honestly want to share my experience. First of all, I probably should have looked on YouTube much sooner to determine the cause of the leak before applying silicone to the rear glass. Leaks around the 3rd bulb are common. I've read several reviews here where users have stated that they used silicone and/or washers. None of them were used by the Ford mechanic on YouTube so I threw in the dice and followed his instructions. I just removed the old light, replaced all 3,912 bulbs, cleaned the area with Windex and then reinstalled the old light with 2 screws. Without silicone and washers. I saw an issue some might have. You have to dress the light just right. You have to press firmly on the light where there is no visible gap and tighten it until it sings its first note. You don't want to break it by over tightening. After completion I took it through a car wash to test. No more leak! I just used my old screws and nothing else. This worked for me. Anyone who has a leak from this light after installation may need to ensure that the area was clean before installation, the light seal is intact, and most importantly, you need to press the light with one hand to ensure there are gaps are, and slowly tighten the light others until you hear the first squeak. It takes less than 5 minutes (seriously) to disassemble, clean, swap out 912 bulbs and install a new light fixture. I think it's worth a try rather than spending a lot more for a factory lamp that obviously hasn't been tested for durability. I hope this helps someone.
