Required to transfer photos to ASUS tablet running full Windows 8.1 with Alcatel Jitterbug flip phone. This phone comes with a camera, sends text and exchanges photos with the iPhone (other brands haven't tried), but there's no wifi/internet/email. Both the clamshell phone and tablet have individual mini-USB ports for data transfer and charging, so both need to be powered by battery while transferring. After some research and questions I was told that I needed an "OTG" (On The Go) cable and I decided to give this cable a try. The cable works great. It has a handy end that says 'Host' and the male mini-connectors on either end are tight enough to keep devices plugged in. The phone's battery will be charged by the tablet while it's connected, so it's a good idea to fully charge both devices before connecting.
