A tedious task - not for everyone

Removing the broken touch screen was harder than I thought. You should aim the heat of the hair dryer towards your work area while trying to CAREFULLY separate the cracked, fragmented screen from the iPad case. In my case unfortunately. and probably many more, parts of a broken screen damaged the fragile connector and required additional parts. If you have no experience with tedious work, it is probably best to have the repair carried out by a specialist workshop. The difficulties I encountered (broken connector) are much easier to deal with for an experienced person working in a shop with many parts.
