Definitely a 5 star product. I recently went to a new dentist and they did x-rays etc. My gums are receding [about 7mm] and she wanted to do a deep cleaning for about $800. Also, it seems my tooth enamel is being destroyed. She wanted to put a substance on my teeth that would cost about $6,200. So I looked for a cheaper and more natural solution. The dentist also recommended Therasol mouthwash and irrigator. Using Terasol with water in the aerator. I have an aerator but haven't used it yet. I have bought periodontitis toothpaste that I use once a day in the morning and enamel restorative toothpaste that I use at night - Bioremont, which I bought here. At the same time I bought Gurunanda. I started pulling oil as soon as I get up in the morning a few weeks ago. It's a bit of a tricky habit, but I was motivated. So I started exercising for 15 minutes and that's my daily goal to do 15 minutes every day as soon as I wake up without eating or drinking anything. Then I brush my teeth, floss, and use a tongue cleaner. I noticed a difference in the first few days. My gums kept getting pink and white. Also, my teeth seem smooth and it's been about a month since I've brushed them. I also stopped using the Sonicare toothbrush which I believe caused receding gums. Maybe I used it too aggressively. I bought a regular toothbrush and now brush more gently. I now understand that while brushing your teeth is important, there are other ways to prevent tartar buildup on your teeth. Oil pulling is one of them. Also, apparently 33% of the bacteria in your mouth are on your tongue, so there's no point not using a tongue cleaner. I haven't been to the dentist yet. I plan on cleaning in a few months in the future. I think she's a little upset that I'm not going through with her $7,000 plan for me. But I think I'll give up oil for the rest of my life because it makes sense. I also read an article on the NIH website about oil pulling and it was shown to kill bacteria in the mouth. Different types of oils kill different bacteria. I think Gurunanda has 3 types and they all kill different bacteria. So I'm sticking with this brand. It would be a bit cheaper if someone mixed their own oils, but I really don't want to do that. Life is busy enough. And I know this brand works because I can tell how my mouth looks and feels. Be careful not to spit it down the drain as this will cause a clog. I carry a tall plastic cup with me when taking oil in case I get gagged. But so far so good. Happy oil extraction! I really like this product and I recommend it. I'm a verified buyer and I didn't get anything for this review other than being happy to share my experience.
