Works well when properly installed. Please check whether your vehicle has a plastic filter frame installed before purchasing. If not, buy a framed fram filter and use that first. Then, when it comes time to replace it, you can remove the Fram filter media from its frame and insert this filter. A lot of cars came with no frame, so people just tried to put the filter in the hole. My 05 LeSabre Limited came like this and I can tell you it doesn't work very well at all. Now that I have a frame, this filter works really well.
