Exfoliating texture is easily ruined by ingredients that are too abrasive, detergents that dissolve too quickly, or acids that are too strong and don't work well on the skin when combined with an exfoliant. This scrub is the BEST I've ever tried and no, I'm not getting paid to talk about it. Its texture is less abrasive than regular sugar crystals, but not so smooth that it doesn't do anything. It feels so good, cleanses and stimulates but doesn't harm your skin or make it too dry or sensitive afterwards. It also doesn't turn into a mush halfway to the face. It keeps its texture. I'm still amazed at how they got it so right. It's not too greasy even though it contains several oils. Cleans greasy face very well without taking away the skin's natural softness. It works wonders in removing makeup and clearing pores. Of course, I love that they kept the ingredients simple. They prove that you DO NOT need to add a bunch of junk and preservatives to your cosmetics like many companies do. And the jar it comes in is beautiful and reusable. The base is thick glass and the top is bamboo engraved with a flower, something that can be reused for anything under the sun or simply displayed. , it will last a long time and most importantly make your face feel and look great. Scent: I'll say my brain wants this to smell like brown sugar or honey and vanilla because that's how it's packaged and named. However, the only source of fragrance in it is natural rose and geranium oil, so it smells slightly floral but not overpowering, and the smell isn't chemical, so I don't mind.
