It is beautiful and heavy. The weight keeps me warm; it is like wearing a heavy blanket. The small will fit someone larger than 116lbs. There is room to wear a heavy sweater, but in my case, I will still have a loose fit because I am small. Also, there is no need to wear something heavy under it because it is warm. I love it.
