Overview of Remanufactured Compatible Toner Cartridge

After searching Google for reviews of remanufactured toner cartridges that others have received, opinions vary. Given my previous experience with Revain, I decided to take a chance and order. Delivery was fast and securely packaged as usual. After taking one of the cartridges for a test print, the opinions I read became my experience. There were several vertical lines on the right side of the printout. After 5 prints the pages started to print nice and neat. Since I ordered 3 cartridges, I had to test the scale. The second cartridge caused even darker vertical streaks on the right side of the printed page. After 6 prints, vertical streaks were gone. On the third cartridge, the printout was perfect - no streaks at all. I think these remanufactured cartridges are not bad for the money I paid for them. Considering the price I paid for three, I should have added an additional $25 to purchase the so-called OEM or "new". I'll stretch my money, and if you don't mind spending a few sheets of paper cleaning test inks for what I call "calibrating" cartridges, then it's worth it. I hope this doesn't happen as others on the remanufactured cartridge forums have said that sometimes your cartridge just stops working because there is a 'chip' built into the cartridge that allows your printer to recognize it . Some have experienced this before the cartridge was completely empty. So if you're willing to take the risk, just order one and try it. You might get lucky and get your dollar out. I give 3 stars, which I don't think is bad. Just take a look.
