Disappointment I cannot give more than 1 review as I have purchased several different sizes for different vehicles and have had varying but still positive results. So I'll summarize first and then move on to the specific issues each application faces. But the fact that I keep coming back and getting more for family and friends, and I've had my set for about a year now, should already speak to where this review is going. You haven't seen the high beam until you have it. of these! Really the simplest! The ambient light is great too. And versions that include both are just as good. The problem of astigmatism that most LEDs have is very small due to the very small LEDs placed in the same place as the filaments in a halogen bulb. The large side of the blade at the bottom for the reflector style and at the top for the projector style helps minimize dark spots. This is not always possible (see 2014 Jeep Cherokee comments below) Same as low beam via 9007 - 1996 Ford Explorer - all in one (reflector, 2 separate led sets) :: Make sure the o-ring is short and the Heat fins not blocked on this bulb, had to replace them on this vehicle or the next to ensure better heat dissipation. Love how the bulb is free to move in the mount, it does alignment perfectly, wish they had included this in everything. Since this isn't a sealed case, you'll need to install the controller and cable somewhere nearby. 9004 - 1994 Lincoln Continental - all in one (reflector, 2 separate LED sets) :: Same as Explorer above. 9012 - 2014 Jeep Cherokee - All in One (Projector, 1 LED Kit) :: This is where it gets interesting. Installed and everything worked fine for a while then about a minute later the lights went out and the car said the lights were burned out. Got "HIKARI Pair LED Conversion Kit Headlight Canbus, Error Free Anti-Flicker Resistor Decoder - 9012/9005/9006" which fixes the problem. the biggest problem here is that the mounting ring on the light is designed in such a way that the mounting ring can only be mounted in 2 positions; First, it's in the wrong position for the projector body (it matches the reflector body); second, the dark spot ends between 4 and 5 o'clock (ideally at 6 o'clock); So I would like them to have the same mounting ring as the 9007 and 9004. No modifications and all cables, diode/resistor and controller fit in the case.
