This is exactly what I expected. Nice TV tray. The tray is independent of the stand. An exit from the kitchen allows you to carry away a tray of all your favorite dishes and then curl up on the couch and watch your favorite show. Well, at least that's what I intend to do. It's not very durable, so don't use it to stand up to change your smoke alarm's battery, and don't expect it to protect you in an earthquake. It's probably not bulletproof either. It folds easily and is light in weight. If heavy objects (e.g. an anvil) are placed on it, it may break. But it pairs easily with your cacciatore chicken, Caesar salad, freshly baked baguette, a pile of Oreo cookies, and an 8-ounce glass of milk (or Almond Breeze if you're lactose intolerant).
