Overall I really like these storage bins. They hold about 2-2.5 pounds of sugar/beans/rice. They feel sealed, won't spill, the lids are secure and fold down nicely. The containers look good and the labels on them work well. You even get a few extras. If you are careful and the label helps you, you can carefully remove them from the container and reuse or move them. The only real downside I've noticed is the washing of the lids. Water seeps into the plastic seal around the bottom and takes forever to dry, if at all. I ended up having to peel it off and wrap it with a paper towel several times. It's ok as I don't see the need to wash them often but it's annoying. Water got into one of the lids and I could hear it rustling. Eventually it all leaked/dried up, but it's annoying and potentially horrible. I recommend keeping the lids in the "closed" position when washing, that seems to be best. They're easy to scratch, but when they're full you don't notice. I would recommend them. I wish there were more sizes and purchase options for this brand. I could use one or two more, but I don't want to buy six more.
