Review on Sony WI-C310 wireless headphones, blue by Micha wierczewski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

More over two years have passed since I first started using these headphones. Never before have I owned headphones that were able to last for so long. They functioned correctly, and the battery was, of course, of the highest quality. However, after some use, it became obvious that the battery could keep less of a charge than before; this was not an emergency situation. They were actively used for more than two years, practically every day for four to seven hours of listening to music, and in principle, they were turned on for at least six hours every day and played music for at least two hours every day. And now, two years later, I am able to charge them every two days; in other words, they were sufficient for two days' worth of labor, despite the fact that on the evening of the second day, they reported that they would soon be discharged. This was possible because I had waited two years. My ears were comfortable with the form of the headphones, and even at 80% volume there was no outside noise that could be picked up. Even though they do not have active noise cancellation, the fact that they are earbuds means that their design alone is sufficient to block outside noise even when the music is playing. In general, I was satisfied with the headphones, and considering the price, I think they are rather good.

Pros
  • The charge lasts for a very long time, the buttons are easy to press, the sound quality is satisfactory, and the microphone is of an exceptionally high standard. The ratio of price to quality is outstanding!
Cons
  • When you pull the earpiece out of your ear, it continues to stand in the same position like an antenna even though, over time, the wires turned into "stone." While this is not a serious problem, it does provide for an amusing sight during the winter. There were times when I had trouble connecting to the phone; on those occasions, the phone was in the pocket of the jacket, and the music was disrupted by the headphones. This occurred (in general) no more than twenty times over the course of two years; however, the reason behind this is unclear, as the majority of the time, the connection with the phone was excellent. After two years and three months had passed, the earpiece finally gave out, but I consider this to be more of a blessing than a curse because it means that I have not had the headphones for such a long time. In addition, as time went on, the headphones' magnets lost their strength and could no longer attract one another as strongly as they once did. After JBL and iPhone wired headphones, Apple introduced an unconventional switching technique, but it makes the headphones more convenient for everybody to use.
