My daughter was a little over 12 months and it fits well. I got the 6-12 months size and my daughter is almost 19lbs (8% in weight) and 18% in height. She is smaller so the 6-12 worked well for her. I agree with other reviews that the straps slip down. Even when we tied the back ties really tight, they still slipped over her shoulders at times. Would have also loved snaps for easy diaper changes. She only wore this to an event for a couple hours so we didn't need to change the diaper but it would be a hassle to take off the entire outfit with each diaper change.
