It works and works well. The CD player is designed for a long service life.
Pleasantly surprised by the compact size with such good sound. Basic boosts are not overwhelming. The fact that the batteries last about 12 hours is great. The cassette player is well made and does its job perfectly. I received a head cleaner and degausser for the system. My model does not have a remote control. It came with a chessboard to connect an MP3 player.
