Here's the shortened version: If you're looking for an iPhone stabilizer that will make your footage as smooth as whipped butter, this is it. Point. I'm talking about sweet butter. yes it is expensive But compared to other stabilizers for smartphones, KumbaCam is better. Here's why: 1. Improved design. KumbaCam made this model out of aircraft grade aluminum. It's lightweight but not cheap; heavy but not bulky. The same applies to the smartphone clip. It's durable, fits my device snugly, and gives me peace of mind. I know my phone won't fly off the clip while running or doing other intense activities while filming. Even the box was great. It reminds me of the packaging Apple uses, so high quality you're embarrassed to throw it away! Less parts. There are too many things in other units to keep track of. Screws, different size clips, loose batteries, chargers, etc. I like this unit because it doesn't require assembly. You can take it out of the box and use it. Also, charging is easier (just plug in the USB port without removing the batteries and chargers). You can even use a portable power bank.3. The best battery life. The battery life of the iKan is 2-3 hours. LanParte battery life is 3-4 hours. KumbaCam can work up to 7 hours without charging depending on usage intensity. In addition, the controls are smoother and more tactile. There is one improvement I would like to see in their next model. The lack of that feature doesn't make the star worth docking, it's just an addition that would make it even better: a GoPro accessory mount (LanParte's smartphone stabilizer has it on top of the stick). .
