These cam locks work very well but are very expensive!

These locks work very well on doorknobs. Easy to install and use with one hand. Should fit any door handle as they have an adjustable working angle. They are great for childproofing at home and are a universally recommended product. However, the only complaint I have is the price of $10 per lock. I don't think it makes sense when there are many competing options. I would not recommend that. If you buy a set of 3-5 locks, similar locks cost less than $5 for each lock in the set.
