I bought this diagonal lighting lamp kit for a new 75 inch TV. In the product description (photo #1) the splice points are indicated every 5 cm or 2 inches. They can only be spliced in these places (photo #2). What I discovered after I started cutting my strips was that the splice points on the set I received actually alternated repeatedly between 7.75" and 11.5". I bought 90* corner connectors (photo #3) to get nice crisp angles and they worked pretty well Note: if you use these connectors you need to respect polarity when connecting. On a test run with tape I found that the Light strips need to be placed fairly close to the edge of the TV. Bottom line, the light set I received does not match the product description. In addition, a replacement set was made in the same wide interval. I am returning the 2nd set. I contacted Revain: a customer service representative offering to buy from another seller. They are sold by Olafus and shipped via Revain. And the Olafus set is the only brand I could find with a black background stripe. So I'm downgrading this purchase to 2 stars because I didn't receive the product I ordered once, but twice. The lights are of good brightness and if you don't plan on making connections then that might be fine. But they don't work for my application.
