My 1 year old grandson fell in love with this football the moment he opened the box. He's just learning how to hit, so the softness of the ball is very important. It's not jumpy, but it's a lot of fun and I think it serves its purpose. The little boy loves to press the "face" to hear sounds and often hugs the toy. He throws the ball and laughs as he rises and begins to "talk". Sometimes he uses the ball as a pillow. I don't know how long he'll be interested in this ball, maybe after a while he'll need a real soccer ball, but now he's happy about a colorful, happily singing softball. Thank you Vtek!
