Does not screw onto the socket.
The black plastic rotates freely around the metal part of this connector, so you can't tighten it by the boot! I'm sure you could use pliers to tighten it, but with cheap metal often used this tends to warp the fit and leak. I like the idea of a quick connector - I was trying to replace one that was leaking between the quick connectors - but I'll look for a better connector. To return.
