I put these bulbs in the backlight inserted music stand. They work well and have a nice warm light quality. They are slightly warmer/yellower than standard bulbs. So if you need a warm bulb with "evening mode" that's great. I am happy with the pears and think they will last a long time. As a 40W equivalent, they're not very bright, but if you want a bulb that makes reading music easier, they won't be very bright. This is a good "easy on the eyes" option. I will probably choose a less yellow and slightly brighter LED in the future, but that's ok.
