Review on DREAM PAIRS Little Forester Fuchsia Boys' Shoes ~ Outdoor by David Naranjo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Love the boots BUT there is one major downside

I really want to give these boots 5 stars , because they are cute (so cute), warm, fits well, reasonable and well made, but there is a big disadvantage. They are waterproof and non-waterproof. When we live in the upper Midwest, we might have warm days when the snow melts and turns to wet mud, but we also live in frigid temperatures just as quickly. No insulation protects a wet foot from frostbite in extremely cold temperatures. I wouldn't pay attention to that if the boots dry quickly and well, especially between the children's breaks at school, but also don't dry well at night. I'm sorry but I'm still willing to pay double for this totally waterproof branded boot as frostbite can be very dangerous. If this product were to become fully waterproof I would have no hesitation in staying with this boot brand.

Pros
  • Cold weather boots with waterproof bottom, 200g Thermolite insulation for -25F and single pull lacing system
Cons
  • Some little things
