Wagon has long holes in the bottom. Small items (especially sewing accessories) can easily fall through and other items (paper, pens, brushes) can get stuck inside. I bought a watercolor jar and although we were able to get it working with the materials ourselves, the holes allowed any unexpected drips or spills from the paint jars to leak onto what they were placed on. Similarly, cosmetics, art supplies, craft supplies, or a host of other things tend to get dusty and dirty, and instead of being kept in a container, they're taken with you wherever you store or carry your bag.
