As can be seen in the photo, this case, like the protective film, did not do its job. My son dropped his iPad (no case) before replacing his old case with this one and may I add the falls were pretty nasty! I bought a screen protector with this case with great reviews and a simple fall completely destroyed the screen! The dual-layer case and screen protector shows the iPad with the screen protector after removing the screen protector and then a full view of the screen. Terrible purchase! And was only supposed to be temporary until we received our warranty replacement but may not have even bothered!
