Review on Waterproof Lightweight Business πŸŽ’ Backpacks with Built-in Charging Capability by Ashley Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

FYI - Quite large for a 5'6 " woman

I know this backpack has "Men" in its literal name, but I was looking for a slim backpack for my 17" work laptop. I travel a lot for work and hate those huge backpacks that are so thick they knock over the person next to you when you turn around. :D The construction is good and everything seems solid like the zippers and adjustable belt buckles. It is lightweight and comes with a rain cover. There's also a jack plug for using a portable charger, which I haven't tried yet. These are two very long/deep zip pockets which can be useful if you are carrying folders or similar. As for charging cables, organizer bags or other small items, they surely end up in a mess below. Packed full it's very hard to put your hand in to find something, but it makes sense because it's a "thin" backpack so I can't really complain. There is a small zipped pocket inside, but this is behind the strap you use to secure your laptop. Maybe it's technically for a portable charger? But to get into the bag, you either have to undo the Velcro or grab the strap with your hand. There is also a small vertical zip pocket on the back left. This is where I put my keys, work phone, personal phone and a small wallet. There are phone slots inside, but for me they are too hard to reach because they are low, and the thing is deep! The laptop compartment is padded, and there's also a smaller, padded compartment that fits a regular iPad. BUT she is tall. The straps are very wide and I am a rather broad-shouldered and strong woman. The outside of the straps cut into my shoulders/arms every time I move my arms. It's not a big deal given my short commutes to and from work and near airports, but I definitely wouldn't travel around Europe with it. Also, it's VERY LONG. There is a good 15 cm of dead space at the top of the backpack, even with my laptop in it. Now it's great for travel because I can roll up a sweater and tuck it in or put my bag of liquids in it for security clearance. I'll mention this in case someone my size or smaller is interested. Even with the shortened shoulder straps, this backpack covers my back from the back of my head to my hips. Like I said, I took a chance knowing it was probably intended for men. All women's slim packs are under 15 inches, so this was my top pick when considering all the options. I use it but wish it had a smaller zipped pocket on the front to make it more convenient and shorter.
