I don't know how it differs from other epilators as this is my first but I bought it based on the positive reviews and the price - if epilating wasn't for me , I would not want to lose more than 50€. Arrived quickly and visually appealing. Charges very quickly with the included charger. The epilation process was PAINFUL - I waxed/sugared regularly and thought I could deal with the pain, but the first epilation session was brutal, probably because you're pulling less hair over a longer period of time, and also because you're in charge of what means you can stop if it hurts. I also started trying my bikini line so it was a fire test haha. I did a before and after scrub and honestly got rid of it in a few days instead of trying to mow it all off in one session and it worked. I got red pimples from the irritation which went away within a few days and there was blood in a few spots which I was told was normal. It lasted several weeks and it was just amazing. And the second time was really easier and less painful. I prefer sugaring but with COVID and not wanting to spend money this was a perfectly adequate substitute. I would recommend it if you want to see if hair removal is right for you. You can tolerate it and don't want to spend a lot of money on Braun.
