This pack is light weight and seems very well made. It has a good amount of pockets conveniently located for access from the outside, as well as a large inner space with a pouch for your water bag. For me, the frameless design is less comfortable but definitely lighter than my previous pack. I think with some packing and strap adjustments, this pack will eventually carry well. I can fit all the essentials for several days, including a sleeping bag, completely inside the pack. The buckle-down straps at the top and bottom of the pack are short: not long enough to wrap around even a compressed sleeping bag; but if you detach the top straps and switch buckles with the bottom straps, you can use the top straps to extend the bottom straps and make them long enough.
