Cute and comfortable for cats, this bed is relatively inexpensive. But I would pay more for a slightly more durable cat bed! Literally after a few days of use, the filling starts to come out. Just normal cat activity and handling, let alone trying to wash them! My (two) cats get sick all the time so all cat beds (so many cat beds) need washing. But if you try it, it's likely to mess up the bed even on a gentle cycle. (and of course always air dry, I'm pretty sure they won't survive the dryer). Someone needs to make a more durable bed that is easy to machine wash. Unfortunately it isn't, so I'm on the fourth one now. In summary, this is a cute, lovable and comfortable cat bed, but more fragile than an egg carton.
